President's Message

Thank you so much for donating to our staff luncheon. We will be able to treat them to a delicious lunch.

MGE has two more projects that we hope you will join in on before the break. Our Giving Tree donations this year will be submitted through the Pay and Go App and will provide recess balls and equipment for our Sister School, Morton Ranch Elementary. Also, the Coin War proceeds will go to buy the storage containers for the recess equipment.

Our 5th Grade Choir has been busy preparing for their Winter Concert which will take place on Tuesday, December 10th at 7:00 pm. Hope to see you there!

Holiday Home Tour Auction Event

These ladies had a wonderful time during our Holiday Home Tour Auction Event. A lovely 3 course dinner at Local Table followed by a tour of some beautifully decorated homes that are ready for the holidays. We hope to make this an annual tradition and that one of you can join us next year. Thank you to Andrea Smith for generously sponsoring this event.

COIN WARS

💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲💲

Last week, war was declared between the houses- a COIN WAR that is! It will benefit our sister school by providing them with storage for each grade level's recess equipment. HOW? By collecting OR cancelling coins within the Houses. Copper coins add up one-by-one a point for each penny. Silver coins CANCEL the copper coins collected by the value of the coin.

5 pennies are cancelled by a nickel
10 pennies are cancelled by a dime
25 pennies are cancelled by a quarter
50 pennies are cancelled by a half dollar
100 pennies are cancelled by a dollar piece

Our HOUSES will benefit with house points:

500 points for 1st place
300 points for 2nd place
100 points for 3rd place
50 points for 4th place

ATTENTION 5th GRADE PARENTS! Have you submitted a Kindergarten photo of your student yet? If not, here's your reminder to dig through those old Facebook posts to find it. The Yearbook team needs these photos ASAP, so please do not delay in sending it in!
