President's Message

I hope everyone is starting to settle back into school routines and finding their groove!

Congrats to our membership raffle winners- Sonal Bendle and Keith Mascarenhas! Thanks to all of you who have joined PTA.

Please take a moment to update your mgepta.org account and fill out our Volunteer Interest Form. It lists all of the opportunities available this year and by signing up, you will receive emails specifically from your areas of interest with requests for help.

I hope you find a place to get involved this year. It takes all of us to put on everything we do and I promise you, you won't regret it. Seeing the happiness it brings to all of the kids and seeing your own child during these events will be so fulfilling!

5th Grade Party Fund Due Tomorrow- August 26th

5th grade parents!!! It is time to celebrate our 5th grade Grizzlies. The 5th grade party fund includes a commemorative Fifth Grade Class T-shirt and a ticket to the the Fifth Grade End of Year Party. Purchase online before August 26th to guarantee a 5th grade T-shirt.

GrizzFest Planning Meeting Wednesday, August 28th @ 11AM

Come help us plan our 19th annual GrizzFest which will take place on Friday, November 8th. It will consist of carnival games, a silent auction, raffle baskets, food and lots fun. Proceeds from GrizzFest will be used to support our students in the classrooms and enable funding for the many programs we provide.

Are you interested in learning more about volunteering at Griffin Elementary this year? Use the link below to express interest in all of the volunteer opportunities. You will be contacted by a PTA board member in September with more information about each opportunity you selected. We will be closing online spirit wear sales this Friday, August 30th. All shirts will be delivered to your child's classroom in September. Please note that there are NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES.
